Morgan and Erin met on Washington’s Orcas Island. And a year later, the couple returned to the place where their relationship started to tie the knot in this stunning destination wedding. San Diego naive Morgan Quinn, 22, met Erin Clark, 34, while picking up her daughters from summer camp on Washington’s Orcas Island. Erin was there to get his nephew, but after meeting Morgan, he told his sister he’d be happy to pick up his nephew every day that week. He asked Morgan out before she returned home. She visited him two weeks later, and the next month, Erin moved to San Diego. Almost a year to the day of their first date, the couple tied the knot at a family friend’s waterfront beach house in the town where their relationship started.
The weekend was full of great activities, like a pig roast on a friend’s cattle ranch, with bonfires and rounds of horseshoes. The couple’s 120 guests stayed in vacation homes via Airbnb and VRBO, and Erin’s had so many personal details. The Little Hen House blogger and thrifting addict found a $60 Urban Outfitters skirt to pair with a vintage silk top and Dexter boots she already had. And Erin’s aunt, Sarah Berkshire, grew the couple’s wedding flowers on a nearby island, and a florist friend arranged them. It’s the personal touches that make this destination wedding so stunning.
