Real Wedding: Holly and Eric

“We had zero groomsmen and bridesmaids – just us! However, the only guests we invited were friends who would have been in our bridal party if we’d had one.” says Holly. Huntington Beach natives Holly Schoenke and Eric Stein, both 28, are known for their spontaneity and surprises, and their wedding exemplified this. Years after graduating from the same high school, the pair reconnected when Eric was a valet supervisor at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, and Holly, a wedding and event planner and preferred vendor at the Hilton, was taking frequent meetings there. Although she plans weddings regularly, she says that when the time came to be the bride, “it was unlike anything I had ever expected it to be.”
