Real Wedding: Haley & John

Between an elegant Tuscan-style venue and inspiration from a Van Gogh painting, today’s real wedding from Cardiff is all about classic romance.

When planning her wedding, Haley knew a few things for certain. One, she wanted to pay tribute to her parents by saying her vows to her groom, John, at the Immaculata, where her parents wed nearly 35 years before. And two, she wanted the reception to look like Van Gogh’s famous “Starry, Starry Night” painting. That meant navy accents and market lights strung throughout her parents’ Cardiff home, where the festivities took place. To solve the dilemma of seating 150 guests at a home, the couple opted for organic food truck, Green Truck, along with wine barrel tables and padded seats. The rest of the space was adorned with monogram details, handwritten schedules, and babies breath.

For their big exit, Haley and John had the most festive of send-offs—through a tunnel of sparklers. Take a look:
