Design Inspriation: Retro Palm Springs Wedding

Today’s inspiration shoot features vibrant colors, retro 1960s style, and a Palm Springs hidden gem.

Photographer Ashley Williams chose the Technicolor-splashed Saguaro Palm Springs hotel for this fun mid-century-inspired shoot. Event planner Kimberly Anderson from The Dainty Lion and florist Taya Glynn of Compass Floral worked together to bring the colorful era to life, with bright flowers and color-blocked table settings. To fit the psychedelic colors, makeup artist Ashley Fierro of My Girl on Film Studios, created a bold bright eye paired with Twiggy style lashes and hairstylist Renee Joy coifed the bride’s hair into cascading pin curls.
