These high school sweethearts and San Diego natives decided to really switch it up for their engagement photos. I’m loving this edgy and non-traditional shoot at the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas. Viva!
Hannah and Collin met in high school, when Collin was a Senior and Hannah was a Sophomore. Their relationship didn’t begin until about a year later, when they were both single and reconnected after Collin graduated. Hannah was 16 at the time, and they’ve been together ever since! The two are best friends and enjoy doing everything together – whether it’s working out at the gym, fostering rescue dogs, grocery shopping, home projects, or trips to the river and the desert.
Collin proposed to Hannah on Christmas Day, 2013. Hannah and her mother Susan Magre (who also happens to be the photographer of their engagement shoot!) always collected Byers Choice carolers. Each holiday season, they would go out and buy a new doll for their collection. Hannah stopped collecting dolls when she moved out. On this particularly special Christmas day, Hannah opened her very first Christmas caroler doll. On the hand of the Christmas caroler laid a gorgeous engagement ring and before she knew it, Collin was down on one knee asking Hannah to spend the rest of her life with him! This tradition that Hannah shared with her mom would now be continued in her life with Collin.
This edgy couple chose the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas because they wanted to do something a little different. Hannah’s mom, the talented Susan Magre of Susan Magre Photography, sparked the idea because she had always wanted to shoot there. The couple agreed it would be a perfect spot for them, and they had the museum all to themselves for one hour!
