Engagement Photos: Rocking the Casbah

This rockin’ couple wanted to do something a little different for their engagement shoot to reflect who they are as a couple. Sandy and Darren created the perfect inspiration for a Rocking the Casbah engagement shoot.

Sandy and Darren, who have been dating for ten years, met tutoring high school kids while attending UC San Diego. The couple has a strong love of live music, going to at least a concert or more per month, and strong dislike of anything cliché. What better way to showcase their love than at their favorite San Diego live music venue, Casbah. Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, Casbah had also serendipitously chosen Sandy and Darren’s photographer, Stacy Marie Keck, to photograph their anniversary celebration. Sandy and Darren wanted to create an urban city vibe throughout their engagement shoot. In additional to shooting at their favorite venue, the couple also walked around the city where they met and fell in love.
