Lucy and Michael’s rooftop wedding will leave you feeling like you are on top of the world. A tasteful DIY wedding complete with an amazing dress, balloon decor, & glitz-y maids!
Lucy and Michael’s story is truly one of two coasts colliding. Lucy, an NYU Student, met the California local at a church conference. It wasn’t long until Lucy began to pack up her things in the big apple and move them to Los Angeles to start planning a wedding. Lucy shyly admits that she never wanted a large wedding, but when Michael proposed, he wanted to celebrate their love in front of all their friends and family. As a gift to Michael, Lucy began to plan a wedding that was 4 months away!
Lucy told us, “We had quite a limited budget so everything was pretty much DIY by me and a few friends. And that has to be one of my favorite parts of our wedding. I loved being able to put together a celebration for Mike by being in every detail of that day. I took great joy and pride being able to build the day from the ground up.” And after taking a sabbatical from work to focus on the wedding, Lucy’s eye for detail is displayed throughout their big day.
