After years of pursuing this brunette beauty, Tommy finally popped the question in San Francisco, and eight months later, Sarah met him at the end of the aisle to say “I do.”
Sarah and Tommy’s story began at one of downtown San Diego’s favorite Irish pubs. Sarah, who worked as a bartender at The Field, put up with Tommy’s persistence for years. He would ask her out, or have his friends ask her for him, and Sarah was in a relationship at the time so the answer was always “no”. It wasn’t until Tommy left San Diego and came back after a year, that the timing was right. He returned to the pub to ask Sarah out again, and, once again, the answer was “no!” Sarah insisted if he wanted to ask her out, he would need to do so sober. So, Tommy returned a few weeks later, sober, and tried one last time. Sarah wrote her number on a napkin (which Tommy still has to this day!), and a week later they went on their first date. The rest is history!
Sarah and Tommy were married in November at the Scripps Seaside Forum, and while it rained the morning of their wedding day, the sun came through for the outdoor ceremony and turned out to be a beautiful afternoon. The clouds made for some awesome photo opps captured by BellaLuz Photography. The newlyweds left two days later for an Argentinian honeymoon.
