Gaby Pastor, 32, and Clement Picquet, 30, were both a long way from home in November 2010. Born in Paris, France, Clement had recently moved to Los Angeles when he met Gaby, a native of Quito, Ecuador. After the pair started dating, Gaby’s two-month trip to the United States was extended indefinitely. They now live in La Jolla, where they chose to tie the knot in front of 85 guests at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa. They picked Estancia because, says Gaby, “It looked like the south of France for Clement, but like a Spanish villa to me!”  —Katelyn Montero
