Katie and Jason Babineau
July 8 – 19, 2013
Why Go
“Beyond the food, natural beauty, and endless opportunities for relaxation and adventure, the people really made the trip for us. Since we’ve come home, every story we tell starts and ends with the incredible people we met along the way. They were so kind and welcoming!”
The Hotels
Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit (Bangkok); Sala Samui (Koh Samui); The Coast (Koh Phangan); Ariyasomavilla Hotel (Bangkok)
Best Experience
From riding elephants across the lush landscape of Koh Samui to zip lining through the expansive jungle, Katie and Jason got in plenty of adrenaline-boosting activities.
Favorite Activity
The couple had fun attending the infamous Half Moon party on the Koh Phangan island, as well as diving into the delicious local cuisine. “The best bowl of noodles we had was when we discovered a tiny restaurant on the side of the road. The building could have doubled as a shack!”
“Even the occasional thunderstorm at night was both cool and romantic.”
