Real Wedding: Kate & Eric

What would a wedding be without peacocks? Yep, you heard us right. The only thing that could top peacock “guests” would be bridesmaid’s dresses from Anthropologie…oh wait. This wedding has that, too!The magical reception area at Leo Carillo Ranch is home to multiple peacocks. As you can see from the photos below, peacocks make wonderful subjects for photos and add quite a unique touch to any wedding celebration.

There were a ton of handmade detaisl and plenty of love poured into this ranch wedding. Not only did Rachael Kinsey Designs create the bridesmaid earrings and the bride’s earrings but she also flew all of the flowers down from the San Francisco flower mart and hand crafted the bouquets and tablescapes at the brides’ parents’ house!

The bouquets were made primarily of Proteas, the national South African flower, an ode to the bride’s heritage. Kate & Eric actually decided on Leo Carillo as their venue because it had a relaxed vibe similar to South Africa. As you can see, there are so many personal details in this real wedding that it is definitely a “not to miss” layout! Enjoy the photos.
