This adorable engagement session in Rancho Santa Fe is full of warm light, beautiful horses, & a not-to-miss backless lace dress! And to accompany these beautiful images, we’ve rounded up 5 major engagement photo style tips that you just can’t miss.
I love that the couple kept it casual for the first half of their shoot, and then kicked it up a notch for the second half. It’s always a good idea to have two outfits planned for your shooting day (any more than that and things can get mucky!). To ensure the day runs smoothly and you get all the shots that you want, it’s a great idea to stick with only 2 wardrobe changes.
Bear in mind- if you are shooting in a ranch, in a warmly lit field, or in a park- there are no mirrors! And on a ranch…at sunset…you will most likely be changing behind a tree or in your car. (Yes this is the not so glamorous side to photo shoots). You will most likely have to be stealth like and have a quick change (think surfer changing out of his wet suit with only a towel around his waist in the parking lot at the beach). Not a fun time- especially when you need to be camera ready.
To avoid a major fashion faux pau- take mental notes of the list below. And please enjoy the beautiful photography by Mag & B Photography.
