Real Wedding: Ashley & Sam

Popping with all shades of purple, particularly that buzzy word for the upcoming year, Radiant Orchid, this real wedding was months ahead of the trend!

Not sure what to think about Pantone’s color for 2014? I’m already missing all things emerald – after all,  green is my favorite color. However, I’ve grown to love the color purple and related shades in recent years: My husband proposed with an engagement ring inside a purple Easter egg, and at that same time, coincidentally, I had OPI’s Lucky Lucky Lavender on my nails. We got engaged on Easter, and in our faith, Easter concludes the Season of Lent, when the Church recognizes purple as a symbol of waiting and patience. I will admit, I was pretty impatient as I awaited the day Danny proposed to me!

If you’re on the fence about Radiant Orchid, there’s no doubt these beautiful images from Ashley and Sam’s real wedding will leave you with a little love for purple and her radiant relatives! If you’re looking for more lavender glam inspo, check out this styled shoot by The Posh Knot!
