Real Wedding: Jessica & Sean

For any California bride, Santa Barbara is a beautiful option for an in state destination wedding. Jessica & Sean’s Santa Barbara wedding will leave you itching to pack a suitcase with your hubs and head up or down the coast to explore the many venues that beautiful Santa Barbara has to offer!

Jessica & Sean decided on Rockwood Women’s Club in the Santa Barbara Mountains. A beautiful outdoor wedding reception area, and an indoor reception hall with a rustic modern feel. Sean and Jessica had been together for 9 years (engaged for 3!) before they finally said “I Do” so they knew they wanted the wedding to be a huge party for their friends and family. To that end, they added fun touches throughout the wedding to ensure that guests really let loose.

During the cocktail reception, they put out life-size checkers and chess boards and even included a corn-hole game so guests could mingle and meet new people. They also opened a photo booth with tons of props and encouraged guests to take impromptu pictures with each other! Additionally, they hosted a beer and whiskey tasting station which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. After the first dances and cake cutting ceremony, the party moved outside where a s’mores bar opened and guests made their messiest creations. As if that wasn’t enough partying, a trolley picked up the revelers at the end of the wedding and took them to downtown Santa Barbara where the partying continued at a local bar.

Congrats Sean & Jess! I was fortunate enough to be a guest at this fabulously creative wedding, and I just had to feature it today. I really appreciate Jessica’s creative touches, and the photos really demonstrate how fun and unique this wedding really was. Cheers to many years, guys!
