This real wedding at Seagrove Park in Del Mar reflects simplicity and sophistication, just like the couple.
Kristina and Robert’s traditional real wedding at Seagrove Park combined old, classical elements with new, modern ones, which they came up with based on their last names: Villanueva (nueva = new) and Reynolds (old classic). Their outdoor ceremony was full of traditional rituals including the breaking of the glass, combining of sand, and even the release of several doves after being pronounced husband and wife! They continued the celebration at the modern UCSD Great Hall with lots of tasty bites and upbeat music. Centerpieces donned beta fish, and Kristina and her dad surprised guests with a choreographed father-daughter dance! On the patio, guests enjoyed photobooth fun and a gelato cart from The Gelato Bus Stop. Family and friends said goodbye to the newlyweds with a sparkler send-off.
