WHY GO: “We’d been lucky enough to travel internationally together quite a bit before we were married,” says Alexa, “and we wanted something different from the typical Maui trip for our honeymoon. These three East Coast cities seemed like the perfect mix of dynamic places. We flew to New York City, spent a few days there, then rented a car to drive to Cape Cod, and then on to Boston.”

THE HOTEL: The Library Hotel New York, The Lenox Hotel Boston, and The Captain’s House Inn in Chatham, Massachusetts.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: “Seeing The Lion King on Broadway. We sat in the front row—close enough to admire the sets and hear and see many details that you miss sitting farther back. Our dinner at Benjamin’s Steakhouse was our most ‘New York’ experience.”
