WHY GO: “Bora Bora is otherworldly beautiful,” Nina says. “There is an energy to it that makes your soul thrum with happiness.”

THE HOTEL: The Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa rests between the “two hearts” of Motu Piti Aau, a coral island on the barrier reef. Nina and William stayed in an overwater villa facing majestic Mount Otemanu.

BEST EXPERIENCE: Nina surprised William with a private Polynesian wedding ceremony. “I couldn’t have imagined something more beautiful or emotional,” she shares.

FAVORITE ACTIVITY: Nina and William snorkeled, fed sharks, and toured the entire island on Jet Skis.
