Real Wedding: Jaclyn & Vahan

This real wedding was actually planned as a SURPRISE by the bride’s sister and best friend! Can you imagine receiving an invitation in the mail for your own wedding with a “?” next to the date and location?! This bride’s unique story might inspire you to take a back seat and let your maids help take some of the wedding planning stress off your shoulders.

Jaclyn and Vahan’s real wedding was a “surprise” wedding, which is probably hard to wrap your mind around! With family in Armenia, Russia, and the States, planning a wedding presented many challenges. The bride’s best friends knew they had to step in before Jaclyn and Vahan decided to go to the courthouse. This is when they came up with the idea of a surprise wedding! Jaclyn’s unique and very laid-back personality helped make this possible. She was given a “fake” invitation to her own wedding, with a question mark next to the where, when, and who. For two months, Jaclyn was surprised with a bridal shower and dress fitting. That’s right – her wedding gown was even a surprise, chosen by her sister and best friend!

The bright, colorful wedding decor really reflects the fun-loving personality of Jaclyn, a well-respected Special Education teacher who cares for her students like no one else. You can tell from the images that her smile just lights up a room. Vahan, a caring, honorable, and driven man would give the world to make Jaclyn happy. You two are lucky to have each other! Congratulations, Jaclyn and Vahan! Wishing you many years of happiness together.
