Real Wedding: Ashley & Mike

Ashley and Mike’s real wedding was the first to happen poolside at the Four Seasons in downtown Denver! The scenery was so beautiful they didn’t need to do much to make a picturesque setting for their “I dos”.

While it was a sweltering hot summer day in the mile-high city, this couple didn’t let the heat take away from their poolside celebration, and the bride’s gorgeous feminine look certainly wasn’t spoiled by the high temps! The couple kept it light and cool with various hues of pink throughout the ceremony and reception details, and fresh flowers lined the aisle and tabletops.

I love how this couple chose personalized matchboxes as cute and practical wedding favors. They’re understated and don’t take up much room, but people use them for all sorts of things, and they’re easy to transport. The couple’s cake stood atop an adorable ruffled-edge cake stand, amongst an assortment of sweet treats. Speaking of sweets, Ashley and Mike also had a few children attend their wedding, so they included a kids table with a lollipop centerpiece (yum!), crayons, and books – a great way to keep kiddos entertained at a reception!
