You don’t need a fancy venue or a box of props for your engagement photos. Keep it simple, if that’s “you!”
This darling Southern couple had their engagement photos taken outside of the bride’s parents’ home. I love the simplicity, serenity, and beauty of the setting.
Choosing a location for your engagement photos might be the first of many decisions you make during the wedding planning process. If you’re having trouble deciding on that special spot, think about places sentimental to both of you (try sitting down and making a list together!). Think about where you first met, a place you two once talked for hours, or shared a kiss, consoled each other, said “I love you,” or perhaps it’s the spot where he popped the question and you said “YES!” Run the ideas by your photographer and together, you should be able to come up with the perfect place to shoot these images you’ll cherish forever.
