We hope this bright and non-traditional real wedding throws a ton of inspiration into your Monday so that you can start the week off with a creative bang!
Fallyn & Travis said their vows out in the middle of the desert, surrounded by family and friends. A white tent provided shade for their guests, and fans were laid out on chairs to keep everyone cool. Twinkle lights, lanterns, and pom-poms hung from the ceiling and adorable yellow chevron-print table runners lined the tables.
On her- a tea length dress, flip-flops, & sunglasses. On him- light khaki pants & rolled up sleeves. The perfect outfit choices for a hot desert wedding.
Christopher wood from SD Photo Studio did an amazing job capturing the lightheartedness of this wedding ceremony & reception. My favorite shot would have to be the final one in the lay-out, of Fallyn & Travis dancing under the desert stars.

I love the colors as well as the care taken to make the guests comfortable.. Who would have known the contrast of formal -ish wedding and desert sand would actually have made for fantastic imaging!

Thank you! It really was super fun, and we managed to do EVERYTHING for about $8000. The tent was probably the most expensive part but it was definitely worth it and served multiple purposes…it gave people like my grandpa somewhere to go and stay cool, but it also allowed us to control the view that people had by putting up the walls of the tent on the side that faced our camp, giving our guests an clean view of the desert on the side that was open. Just want to say thanks to everyone who helped make our day special! BTW there were some amazing photos that we got to take up on the sand dunes at sunset, and the desert almost never disappoints when it comes to bright sunlight, which is a great situation for bright colors!
