There’s no doubt about it- this real wedding is chock-full of rustic personality from the twinkle lights in the warmly lit barn to the horseshoe games & wooden shutter decor. Lite oranges and peaches perfectly complimented the vintage feel of this country wedding.
The bride had me at ‘scalloped vintage shoes.’ And then I fell even more head over heels for my new fashion crush when I read that her vintage dress was actually her mother’s wedding dress. Swoon.
My favorite detail (other than the vintage fashion of course) would have to be the mustache accessories. Any couple that wears mustaches on their wedding day is a friend of mine.
I wish I could have been there! Not many weddings make me want to get up and dance, but this one looks like it would be my exception. I would have loved to dance around in the wood barn, play horseshoes in the sunshine, and eat delicious BBQ with this fun loving couple.

The Wedding of the season to be sure, when you combine creative talent with love of family and friends, this is the result. The colors were soft and inviting, the flowers understated and natural, with a hind of wimsy and humor, the attention to decor, blending perfectly with the Bailey Dance Hall, now in its, 125yr. of service.
I’m over joyed at the visual appeal, and filled with gratitude to this very special couple, who devoted thier time and energy to hosting an “affair to remember.”
