SoCal natives, Greg and Mari wanted a wedding that reflected themselves and the place they grew up in. Their backdrop for this gorgeous real wedding was at the Scripps Seaside Forum, complete with stunning ocean views, palm trees, and a gorgeous sunset.Southern California is best known for its laid back feel, beautiful weather, bright days, and gorgeous beaches- and since their guests were flying in from all over the globe (Japan and Australia!) to be there for their special day, the bride and groom made sure to provide them with the full SoCal experience!
Skip the traditional unity sand mixing ceremony- this fun loving couple decided to do a wine blending ceremony! Not only do these lovebirds have their love for each other in common, but they also have a great love for wine- to tie this into their big day, they toasted one another and drank a glass of wine in the spirit of blending the two families together. (Who would object to that?? Not me!)
The SoCal theme was carried into the reception perfectly- with navy blue, pewter, white, and succulents adorning their reception space, the nautical environment provided a comfortable and truly relaxing feel for the guests.
Luna Photo did a stunning job of capturing Greg and Mari’s big day and making their event really come to life in the photos.
