Fashion: 2013 Wedding Dresses & Engagement Rings

We put together a special post today with stunning engagement rings from Royal Maui Jewelers and brand new wedding gowns from The White Flower. Hey Pretty did the girls hair and makeup, showing off some of the newest trends for next year: subtle braids, chic buns and romantic waves. And Bryan Miller captured it all. Read on to find out more about the trends we’ll be seeing more of for weddings next year.

This form fitting gown has textured flowers at the bottom – a trend we’re loving right now. She’s wearing a halo engagement ring with an emerald cut diamond in the center, surrounded by smaller diamonds and two shield cut diamonds on the size. This ring was incredibly unique and our favorite from the shoot!

Short Dresses & Caplets
This tea length dress is adorned with ruffles at the skirt. The lace caplet adds interest around her shoulders and is big trend for 2013. Her ring features a Burmese ruby and was custom designed by Royal Maui Jewelers. With the detail in the dress and caplet, simple curls and a feathered hairpiece is all you need.

This strapless lace gown by Waters is romantic with a bohemian feel. To complement the sweet style, try a waterfall braid with loose waves. The perfect ring: a halo style with a princess cut diamond in the center surrounded by round diamonds.

Colored Dresses
A blush colored dress is perfect for standing out without losing tradition. This strapless blush colored gown is stunning with a beaded bodice and tule mermaid skirt. Since the gown was a bit non traditional, we chose a more classic engagement ring, a round center diamond with three rows of pave diamonds on the side.
