Austin and Jessi met at Concordia University Irvine, in a basketball class. She says he was drawn to her because she was the first girl to ever beat him in a game of horse…he claims he let her win. Five years later, Austin proposed to Jessi when she least expected it – while she was babysitting!

For their wedding, the couple wanted a simple, elegant, memorable day with all of the people who matter most to them. Austin & Jessi’s reception would be the third wedding reception held in her parents’ backyard, so they really wanted to make it unique. They achieved this by highlighting the natural beauty and neutral colors of the outdoor reception. One thing that really was important to both Jessi and Austin was the photography. Photographer Dane Sanders definitely captured each element and emotion from their special day.
