Engagement Shoot: A Vintage Love Story

We are extra excited about the engagement shoot we’re showing off today. Devyn and Jureyl are a super fashionable and in love couple originally from Hawaii. They moved to San Diego together in 2008, and the Exquisite Weddings team had the pleasure of working with Devyn. When we saw these photos posted on Facebook we knew instantly we wanted to share them with you all. We love so many things about this shoot….the sun beaming through the lush landscaping, the rustic feel of Condor’s Nest Ranch in Pala, the bundle of sunflowers, the vintage books (“Good Wife Guide” & “Good Husband Guide”), picnic with wine and of course the talented photographer Julio Fonyat. If you are like us and want to see more, you’re in luck. This cute-as-can-be couple were wed this June at the San Diego Mission and we’ll be showing off their stunning wedding photos next week, stay tuned!

Devyn loves all things rustic and vintage. The tall trees and shabby chic architecture at the Condor’s Nest Ranch suited her vibe perfectly. Her favorite shot is of Jureyl kissing her hand as their both sitting in the little green house. One fun tidbit of information: They had a big bright red umbrella but lost it as they were trekking around the ranch. They know the umbrella is at the ranch waiting for someone else to get a great shot with it!
