Combining the feel of the 1950s with modern day style, this table was all about ‘charming’ and ‘fun.’ Liz Beck from Liz Beck Events and Annette Gomez of Flowers Annette Gomez chose a warm welcoming palette—cottage colors like butter, papaya, coral and jade. For the retro feel, they added polka dots to the mix, employing the Cameo Bingo coral linen and Kate Spade plates. Circular seating cards embellished each of the straws in their signature milkshakes, and the custom-made Chiavari chair skirts added to the flirty fun feel. See below for the recipe to make your very own Marry Malt.
A MARRY MALT:
1 ounce white rum
2 ounce Kahlúa coffee liqueur
1 cup vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and cherry.
Mix all ingredients together in blender. Add whipped cream and a cherry to garnish.
