Behind the Scenes: The Covers Uncovered

With only 4 days before the new Exquisite Weddings magazine hits newsstands, we’re giving you a sneak peek at all 3 covers plus an inside look at why Creative Director, Alyssa chose these images. Aaron Feldman of True Photography Weddings captured these beautiful images on the streets of the Cedros Design District in Solana Beach. Tell us which one is your favorite!

1.  March/April

Dress: Modern Trousseau dress, $4,840, M Bride
Jewelry: Purple ring, $3,000, Gilmore Family Jewelers, Lydell NYC stud earrings, $32, and black crystal wrap bracelet by Cara, $148 Nordstrom

“This one is my favorite because the model looks so happy and genuine. I loved how urban  and  modern it is compared to second and third covers that feature more natural settings.  I love the bright blue background, natural pose and the pop of color on the belt. We shot this at the Train Station and one worker was so distracted by the model he tripped right in front of us!”

2. May/June

Dress: Inez Santo dress, $5,720 M Bride
Jewelry: Sophia & Chloe Peace, Love and Happiness ring $88, Sophia & Chloe Catherine necklace $272

“This one was shot at David Alan Collection and she’s actually sitting on a Chinese wedding bed which is so appropriate! I just love the colors in this photo.”

3. July/August

Dress: Nicole Miller dress $1,650
Jewelry: Aqua earrings, $45 and Cara New York statement necklace, $125 Bloomingdales Fashion Valley
Hair Piece: Rachel Larraine, colored flower hairpiece $220

“This one I choose because I loved the green color of the background and the dress was very different from the other two. Plus the bold necklace and accessories really make a statement!”
