Food for Thought

A Reason to Survive (ARTS) held its fourth annual ARTSea Café “Pop” at Pawka Green at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Culinary and visual artists showed off their chops: Performing chefs included Jsix’s Christian Graves, 1500 Ocean’s Brian Sinnott and Café Chloe’s Katie Grebow, while Aaron Garcia, Trisha Martin and Jill Stephens provided visual-arts demonstrations and activities. Honorary chair Karen Kohlberg oversaw the event along with chairs Jill Hammons, Jim Lennox and Joanne Mera.
