I got involved in weddings because in 2002 a friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding. About 20 minutes into the hair and makeup, I fell in love with being a witness to the whole dynamic and being able to capture how special everything felt.
I find inspiration in people's faces, in their stories and the way they tell them, traveling, holding mike's hand while we wander around a new city, art, and movies.
My dream wedding includes a couple wildly in love that is excited to share a wonderful day with their friends and family.
My passion outside of work is traveling and photographing the people and places.
My favorite part of a wedding is the ceremony, when everything goes quiet and the faces of the bride and groom soften as they realize -oh my gosh we are really doing this!
If I could travel anywhere, I’d go to the Galapagos Islands, Russia, Iceland, Easter Island and Rwanda to see the gorillas.
My advice to a bride on her wedding day is hire a wonderful coordinator to sweat all the details so that you can enjoy the day and not be sweating the details.
I love Exquisite Weddings because it's authentic, it's beautiful, and it’s San Diego. I love the real weddings!
