I got involved in weddings because I’ve always been a photographer.  I like to tell stories.  And I like pretty things.  Weddings give emotion, beauty and a story all at the same time.

I find inspiration in everyday details, a funny reflection, a crazy concept and most of all the people around me.

My dream wedding includes my husband and a vacation!  And for a wedding I’m going to photograph, a dream wedding is one where bride and groom feel free and safe to show their personalities, enjoy the moment and not be so worried about being judged.

My passion outside of work is traveling to new places, photographing all of it and trying all the restaurants there.

My favorite part of a wedding is a really good toast by the groom to the bride.  If you see me hiding behind my camera so you can’t see my face you’ll know it was a good one.

If I could travel anywhere, I’d go to anywhere new that I’ve not yet visited.  I love to travel.

My advice to a bride on her wedding day is get a good wedding coordinator and a very supportive nonjudgmental maid of honor.  Don’t ask for opinions you know you don’t want to hear.

I love Exquisite Weddings because the magazine is beautiful and helpful. The magazine staff rocks and really cares about what they are creating.  Plus, I get the chance to photograph a fashion spread for them now and then which is always really fun and a creative challenge.
