Half way there!

Half way there! Maybe a little more than half…and here’s what I still have left to do. I figured writing it down will help me get it done.

Wedding Bands: This is going to be a tough one since my engagement ring is not going to cooperate with a wedding band. And I would like for Rich’s band to match mine but I don’t want to sacrifice diamonds.☺

Flowers: I think I’ve decided to keep it simple with just calla lilies. So my next mission is to find a florist or flower warehouse (do they have those things?) that will allow me to purchase a bunch of flowers and do my own arranging.

Table Settings: Why do I keep putting this off? I’m having such a hard time deciding on my centerpiece and table settings. I will have to do a much more thorough posting on this later.

Wedding shoes: As you saw in one of my previous posts this is a VERY important part of the wedding. No luck yet but I will NOT give up. And of course I’ll keep you all posted.

Invitations: I’m beginning to narrow it down but I still don’t have a final decision. Thanks for all your comments! You guys have really helped me out with a lot of this stuff! Oh and I also need to finalize the wording…

Registry: I’ve set up several registries at Crate & Barrel, Target (mostly for video and board games) and Amazon (for Photography equipment) but I need to get organized and finish them up. Let me just tell you…whoever invented wedding registries should get an award. Hours of free shopping fun!

Food & Drink: We’ll be meeting with Kristin (our coordinator at Rancho Valencia) to do some tastings in the next few months. I can’t wait to tell you guys all about it! And I also have a few tricks up my sleeve that will remain a secret until after the wedding (I hope they work out).

So that’s it! Easy right? Actually there will be a lot more of the little things but I don’t need to bore you with those now.

Oh and thanks so much to my incredible fiancé for his wildly entertaining post last week. That will not be the last you hear of him.

I love the bands you have posted! I am assuming these are the ones or close to what you actually want. Personal opinion, I am not a big fan of dudes with diamonds, but I guess it depends on the dude! ;) Have fun with picking out the bands and be sure you get what you want! Love ya! - Fitz

Just a side not on wedding bands... Platinum scratches more than white gold because it's a soft metal. Tugnsten (same as Kev and I think Trav) won't ever get a scratch but can't be re-sized. They look AWESOME though - clean, dark metal that makes his hand look extra yummy! xo Stace
