A Friend's Special Day

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of attending the wedding of Rich’s close family friends. The fabulous wedding of Kate and Graham took place in Northern California with the ceremony at a rather large and incredibly breathtaking church in downtown San Jose, followed by an outdoor reception at the home of the bride’s family.

Attending weddings when you’re engaged is another ballgame. You pay attention to little details, taking notes throughout the day. Kate did an amazing job planning her special day by adding in personal touches and putting the main focus not only on her and Graham but their family and friends as well. And with a guest list of, oh 350 people or so, this cannot be an easy task.

Kate was a classic beauty in her stunning white gown and side swept hair that reminded me of Audrey Hepburn. As a perfect compliment to her gown, her bridesmaids wore elegant and stylish chocolate colored dresses with perfect pink bouquets. I can guarantee those dresses will be worn again!

Once we got to the reception it was made very clear, by Kate’s father especially, that it was time to party. And party we did. With two bars, a live band, swanky lounge areas and even a sushi bar the scene was set for a perfect evening.

It was a perfect day with emotional, yet hilarious speeches, delicious food, lots of dancing, finger lights (woohoo) and the most enormous, delicious strawberries I have ever tasted! Thank you Graham and Kate for asking us to be with you on your special day. We wish you much happiness!
