GREEN AND GORGEOUS

A vibrant table for six is made even more welcoming by its lush garden surround. Sharon Mintz of Organic Elements drew on various whimsical details such as a lively paisley design and horsetail reed curls to prove green doesnít have to be stiff. She kept water conservation in mind by designing a predominantly dry-foam tabletop and using succulent bowls that can be replanted. The ìretro fallî color scheme of chocolate, vanilla, mustard, burnt orange and avocado green complements the copper linen as well as the embedded wrought-iron chargers, custom made by Organic Elements. To complete the look, Mintz chose curled-handle flatware, which resembles the horsetail reed curls, depetaled sunflowers to hold paisley-accented place cards, and amber glass goblets with floating chocolate cosmo blooms.
