Dancing the Night Away

First let me apologize if you sense a lack of enthusiasm in this post, I've been under the weather lately (I guess Vegas will do that to you).
The planning has been cruising along. Ever since setting our date and finding the venue things have just fallen into place. I think we have all of the "big items" checked off the To-Do list.
We've booked our photographer Natalie Moser (www.nataliemoserphotography.com) who I found through my friend Lyndsy. The same Lyndsy who just had her Bachelorette party in Vegas, the same Vegas that stole my voice and gave me bronchitis. Oh well, it was all very worth it.
Anyway, back to Natalie, she's fabulous and glamorous and just incredible at what she does. Ever since Lyndsy introduced me to her photography I've been glued to her blog (www.nataliemoserblog.com) Not only are her wedding photos amazing, but also her engagement sessions and family portraits have such a modern, high fashion look to them. And my favorite part, no cheesiness to be found, anywhere!
Check out Lyndsy and Elon's engagement session at the bottom of this page. (click here to view) They're such a fun couple and great friends. I can't wait to celebrate their wedding in May!
We've also booked our DJ, Gary Kelley, who was referred to us by Rancho Valencia. When I checked out his website I came across a link to this You Tube video. (click here to view) A friend of mine had just sent the exact same video to me and when I found out Gary DJ'd this hilarious couple's wedding I knew it was meant to be.
Now there's no way Rich and I will be dancing our first dance to 'Baby Got Back' but I can guarantee plenty of booty shaking throughout the night. And speaking of first dance, we did pick our song but it's a secret. Shhhh... It's so perfect for us and I hope everyone loves it. Without fail I tear up every time I listen to it!
As I mentioned before, everything is falling into place. My Mom and Rich's Mom have been so helpful. Rich's Mom is taking care of all my flowers and cake. I think she's Martha Stewart's long lost twin so obviously I'm in very good hands. My Mom just finished up our Save the Dates cards, which just made it all so very real!
So this weekend I think I'll take a break from the wedding planning and try to kick this cold that's been hanging around. See you all next week!
