Kayla and Nick’s love story started 15 years ago during their freshman year at a high school pep rally. Nick shares: “She was sitting a few rows in front of me at a pep rally that was held toward the end of the school year. I had no idea who she was or even what her name was, I just knew I had to find out. I spent the rest of the school year asking about her. It wasn’t until the last week that I had a name. Being too nervous to approach her, the last day of school had arrived. I had one last chance before summer to make my move. I summoned all the courage that I had, and asked her for her number… and she gave it to me. I called her once that summer. Fast forward to sophomore year. I had crossed paths with her a couple more times but was still too shy to say anything. This went on for a couple of weeks. So I found her number from the previous year and decided to call.” The couple talked for six hours! And 15 years later they still haven’t run out of things to say.
When asked about their wedding day, the couple says it was the best day of their lives. They wanted an intimate rustic yet elegant wedding with close family and friends, and the Temecula Creek Inn was the perfect spot for their fairytale wedding.
